| I started taking photos of urban decay in 2000. While exploring the downtown alleys looking for graffiti, my attention started to drift to the designs I saw in rusted metal, scratches, peeling paint, and corroding concrete. I framed them in the camera to take away the context of the subjects so that they would look like abstract paintings. |
